2008 recap.

I’ve had a rough but meaningful year for the most.

Some of the good things that happened to me this year; I graduated from the worst high school anyone could possibly go to. I started college at one of the least traditional colleges in the world. I got to witness the first “black” president accept his responsibilities in front of the world on november 4th in grant park. I got my first tattoo. I saw the dark knight 13 times in theatre and 2 times on DVD. I worked a lot less than ever since i was employed at the age of 14. I saw at least 50 different movies IN THEATRE this year.

On the other hand, this year was full of negatives that were very much life changing. I had probably a few of the scariest encounters ever. My father went through a heart attack at the begining of my college experience and helped me realize that without him I’d be totally screwed in college. The relationship status between me and girls was on a bare minimum basically more bromance than anything else. I learned how easily it is to almost go blind with the help of a corneal abrasion in my left eye. I overall went through 8 flat tires and fell asleep at the wheel once this year. I was pulled over 10 times; car searched once, issued 2 speeding tickets one of which was the night of my graduation. I learned that sometimes no matter how badly you want to see someone it isn’t always going to happen and if it does its not going to be the perfect fairy tale you were hoping to see. I put myself so far in debt 25000 thanks to college.
